Daily play and practical help
Wordle Today is an independent five-letter word game with one shared daily puzzle, an unlimited practice mode, and a built-in solver. Play directly in your browser without creating an account or installing an app.
The daily mode gives every player the same five-letter puzzle for the day. You have six guesses, and each submitted word reveals green, yellow, or gray clues. Your completed daily game, win rate, and streak are saved locally in this browser.
Green means the letter is in the correct position. Yellow means the letter exists in the answer but belongs in another position. Gray means that copy of the letter is not available in the answer.
Unlimited mode lets you start a fresh word game immediately instead of waiting for tomorrow's daily puzzle. Use it to test opening words, practice repeated-letter logic, or simply keep playing after finishing today's game.
Select Unlimited beside the game board, or use the new unlimited word button whenever you want another puzzle.
The Wordle solver filters a dictionary of five-letter words using the clues already on your board. Put green letters into their exact slots, type yellow letters together under misplaced letters, and enter every ruled-out gray letter under excluded letters.
The matching list updates instantly, so the solver works as a Wordle helper or word finder without revealing the answer automatically.
Strong starting words usually cover several common letters without unnecessary repeats. Options such as SLATE, CRANE, STARE, TRACE, and ROAST test useful vowels and consonants early.
No opener guarantees a win. The best next guess depends on the green, yellow, and gray information returned by the previous row.
